Aum Sri Sai Ram

Today marks one year since the mahasamadhi of Sri Satya Sai Baba. Last year at this time it was exactly one month to the day that I last Him in the body and I do remember it feeling incredibly powerful and timeless as all of the devotees present in the hall that warm evening were being treated to something so magnificent. It turned out to be His last public darshan and a few days after that I was on a flight home to a new beginning.

It has been an incredibly challenging yet rewarding period from then to now but today I pause and consider how blessed I was to be in India at that specific time and to receive such great exposure, Grace, and Love to such a deeply pure and comforting place. My heart melted into His.

Today I also consider how blessed I am to be in here and now. I wake into every experience being happy for the gift that it is.

Sri Satya Sai Baba called me back into Premadasa. It was challenging in the past for me to be in accord with that name but it was through his Grace that I felt the strength to move back into living its meaning.

Whenever I come across a quote of His, a picture, or a devotee’s recollection of one of their experiences of Him, a warm peaceful glow envelopes me and all is well. It is this I believe to be His message to the world:

Love, Truth, and Peace.
